Hi! How was your day?

Mine was…a day. But I’m over here sipping on some Trader Joe’s peppermint green tea so all is right with the world again. :)

My juice cleanse continued for breakfast this morning….but I broke it around lunch time. It was a busy morning at work and this girl needed some food.

I still kept it pretty clean with a colorful salad from Whole Foods.

My mom met up with me for lunch which is always nice. I introduced her to the Whole Foods hot bar. ;)

Dinner was another large juice – tomatoes, kale, celery – lots of veggies (I also sipped on a couple smoothies throughout the day)

I had kind of planned on taking it easy on the workouts for a few days with the cleanse but this evening my brother talked me into coming over for Insanity. He bought the program a couple weeks ago and I had been wanting to check it out. I told myself I’d do as much as I felt comfortable with but I was surprised that I actually had the energy to make it through the entire workout.

Well, mostly ;) I took lots of breaks to wipe the sweat that was dripping into my eyes. It was definitely a challenging workout but I felt great afterward. I think I really needed it.

I’m not sure what the plan will be for tomorrow – it’s day 3 of the cleanse but, to be honest, as much as I’ve enjoyed them the thought of  a juice for breakfast isn’t sounding terribly appealing right now. I’ll probably just play it by ear and see how I feel. :)

Well, I’m off to fall asleep on the couch catch up on a little DVR. Hope you’re having a relaxing night!
